Dan Pinckney is an ordained Presbyterian minister, having served 8 years as a church planter with his wife, Iara (from the Copacabana Presbyterian Church in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil), in Quito, Ecuador with Mission to the World.  Upon returning to the US, he served at Fourth Presbyterian Church, Bethesda, MD as Evangelism and Missions Pastor.  From there, they spent 10 years in Rome, Italy planting two Italian churches and training and ordaining two Italian pastors, following which they were invited to Munich, Germany to pastor an International Church for 5 years.

Upon returning to the US, he has served on the pastoral staff of Covenant Church of Naples, FL and has been the Director of the Christian Healing Center of Naples - a prayer ministry, and in 2019 moved to Chattanooga, TN where he founded and together with Iara has led Sozo Chattanooga, a free prayer ministry.  Since 2023, he has been involved in training under resourced pastors and leaders in various countries around the world.
