Robert Camenisch
Latin America
Robert Camenisch, DMin, an ordained EPC pastor, was born in Stanford, Ky, reared in Brazil, went to King College/University, where Robert met his wife, Kay. They have been married 57 years, have 4 children plus in-laws with 12 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He began pastoring in 1975 as a seminary student missionary in Brazil. He graduated seminary in 1970, did a doctoral degree at Reformed seminary, and retired from formal pastoring in June of 2019. Over the years God has allowed Robert to visit, preach and teach in Brazil. He has been able to renew old friendships and establish new ones. They have since been involved as members at Valleybrook Evangelical Presbyterian in Hixson TN.
They love the Word of God and are especially enamored with father Abraham, his covenant relationship with God and what that means for us through Jesus Christ. A favorite verse is Psalm 25:14, “The secret of the LORD is for those who fear Him, And He will make them know His covenant.” Robert’s prayer is that God would use him and Kay to increase His Kingdom here on earth.
Robert looks forward to being part of Timothy Two, training pastors and church leaders in under resourced rural areas of Brazil and other Portuguese speaking countries.
