Thomas and Carrie Davis

Asia

Thomas and Carrie have served in global gospel outreach, with a decided focus on the world’s least-reached peoples, for more than two decades. In aligning with Timothy Two, they will continue this focus on the Great Commission in three primary ways.

Teaching: As a Global Instructor with Timothy Two, Thomas will offer sound biblical training to majority-world church leaders, equipping them to make disciples who make disciples among their own people and among neighboring least-reached people groups. In addition, Thomas and Carrie will continue to train churches and believers back home in the same principles of evangelism and multiplicative disciple making.

Evangelism: Aspiring to consistently practice what they preach, Thomas and Carrie will continue to share the good news of the Kingdom wherever God leads them -- but especially among least-reached peoples globally and here in the USA. This means intentionally pursuing connection with those who are far from God and then inviting them into the gospel and into the Scriptures.

Disciplemaking: Disciples of Jesus are those who follow Jesus (surrendering to Him as Lord) and then are transformed by Jesus into “fishers of men” (Mark 1:17). These Jesus followers scatter around the world inviting others to repent and believe so they experience forgiveness of their sins and restoration to the abundant/eternal life for which they were created. Jesus tells His disciples to pass along everything they learned from Him to these new disciples (Matt. 28:20), who are then commissioned to repeat the process. Thomas and Carrie are focused on making disciples who make disciples!

Thomas is an ordained gospel minister (Southern Baptist), an elder at St. Giles Evangelical Presbyterian Church, and is presently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry degree. Carrie has a degree in Bible Teaching and teaches first grade at a Christian school. God has blessed them with three children who are following Jesus – two in college and one middle schooler still at home.
