Wilbert Chipenyu serves as a teaching missionary in Southern Africa, including South Africa, Botswana, and Zimbabwe. Wilbert worked as a teacher in Zimbabwe for seventeen years before joining a life insurance company in neighboring Botswana. During his time as a teacher, he was actively involved in student ministries in the schools where he taught. He also led various groups in the Reformed Church in Zimbabwe as a church elder.

 

Wilbert is married to Perpetual and they are blessed with four children: two daughters and two sons. He felt God’s calling into full time ministry in 2011 when he enrolled for theological training in South Africa before moving to South Korea in 2012 to study at a Presbyterian University. He was actively involved in maritime missions for the three years in Korea. ​ Wilbert has a Certificate in Education from University of Zimbabwe, BTech and Mphil from South Africa, and an MDiv from South Korea. He is a PhD candidate at North West University in South Africa.
