In addition to his roles as International Director and Acting Asia Regional Director, Steve serves as a teaching missionary, training pastors throughout the world.

Having lived in the Philippines and South Africa since 2013, Steve and Rissa, and their two sons, Judson and Timothy, recently returned to the United States (North Carolina), which serves as Steve's base of ministry.

Steve is also on the faculty of theology at North-West University in Potchefstroom, South Africa, as Extraordinary Researcher in Missiology. He has written several books and journal articles on theology and missions. He has earned the degrees of M.A.R., M.R.E., M.Div., D.Min., and PhD.
